Vinted Shoppers Share Anger About Sizing Modifications
Shoppers are voicing their frustration following a change that caused products showing incorrect sizing.
The popular resale platform has altered its size classifications for women's and children's clothes but did not contact every member regarding the update.

Countless users and merchants are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show a modified sizing category than originally posted due to the recalibration.
The platform stated the updated approach better aligns with other platforms.
They have suggested members to examine their items and manually change the size if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction.
Measurement Approach Changes
Before the change, the sizes had both a single numeric size and a letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range for example S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the size labels have been reassigned - like an L measurement was previously a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Member Accounts
One content creator, who produces content about larger sizing, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
A different member, located in Scotland, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were displaying on the service as measurements 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she explained.
Necessary Adjustments
Another shopper, located in England, explained she became annoyed due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing".
"This situation is especially annoying, as I'm chronically ill and platform income has been essential for me since losing part of my income," she explained.
Service Background
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, including 18 million in the UK.
It has become a favored option compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion when a surprising modification to the app has proved unpopular: previously, Vinted reversed a change to its shipping options due to shopper criticism.
