It's a challenge for the Australian squad to break new ground.

The top summits have long been mastered.

We're talking about the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, those for the record chasers, are the only things left for a team that has won it all.

It needed as late as Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the largest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the bowlers that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

"The possibility to take the field and engage in competition with her and simply enjoy myself in that aspect, sort of got me going," said Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at the World Cup - and her ton in 84 deliveries while she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three sixes.

By the time she was removed Australia needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the confidence to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, if we do, we know we can do it."

These statements will be the final thing competing nations at this World Cup want to hear.

During the last week a feeling they will win from any position has grown stronger - this victory succeeding win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.
